Round-about 5pm, I decided I needed to switch things up a bit. All of the wholesomeness of YA was getting to me and I decided I needed something a little steamy. So I grabbed a Sherrilyn Kenyon Dark-Hunter book from my shelf! Yum.
And then I got interrupted by a phone call from my mom and a lot of drama with my brother, his daughter, and her (criminal, apparently) mother. Argh. It looks like my brother is going to be flying halfway across the country very soon to take custody of her. As he should.
Anyway, back to Kenyon I go! At least, until Scott calls me for a ride. Which should be soon.
Looks like you’re doing well, despite the distractions. I hope everything works out okay for your brother and niece.
